Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Installed Kubuntu 64bit from the alternate image using OEM install.

After setting oem-config to run on next boot, I rebooted. oem-config
ran and I created a user and it finished installing the packages it needed
to. However after that, instead of exiting and starting kdm allowing me to
log in, it seems to have died, leaving me with a black screen and an X cursor.

This seems to be new behavior to me. Previous Lucid OEM installs did not
exhibit this behaviour.
