Bug Description
A bug has been found in the CA repeater supplied with EPICS R3.14.2 through R3.14.4 (inclusive). The symptom will be clients running for more than a few minuites do not connect to a newly introduced server.
Additional information:
The CA repeater is an independent process spawned either on demand or by a system boot script. There is only one CA repeater per host for all versions of EPICS. To fix this bug the buggy version of the repeater must be stopped and next a patched version of the repeater must be started.
