Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
The "Connect" button in Ubuntu One does not work, and files never sync.
1. Open Home Folder
2. Click Ubuntu One
3. Click Connect
4. Connect button flickers briefly to "disconnect", then becomes "connect" again.
I can upload files in the browser uploader, and I can drag files into the Ubuntu One directory, but they never synchronise.

Ash,
thank you for taking the time to report this bug. The information gathered from these reports goes a long way towards making ubuntu better. Looks like you are affected by bug 509740 . I have posted the workaround from the 'master bug report'
WORK AROUND
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client ubuntuone/ syncdaemon. conf
2. Delete the file: ~/.config/
(If using Nautilus, make sure you do a Ctrl-H to view hidden files when in your home directory)
3. Start the Ubuntu One client
You can try resetting the bandwidth usage preferences but if you continue to run into problems, follow the steps above and don't turn the limit bandwidth usage on for the time being.
