Robi,
you are currently using an older version of Ubuntu One. Could you please run the Update Manager (System > Administration > Update Manager). there should be an ubuntuone-client-1.0.3 update waiting. You can quit the client with the 'Quit' option in the applet. You can quit the syncdaemon by running 'u1sdtool -q' in a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) Then after the update start Ubuntu One as you normally would (Applications Internet > Ubuntu One) This should insure you are running the newer version. This newer version fixed a lo of issues. Please see if this new version works any better for you. if you still have the same issue please come back here and change the status of the bug back to 'New' and attach the following logs to this bug: ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log & ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exceptions.log You can attach logs using the 'Add Attachment or Patch' button at the bottom of the page.

thank you,
duanedesign

The new version seems to be working ok. As for now I would consider it
fixed.
