Bug Description
been waiting months for this bug to be fixed,
when running from Live-CD after selecting language and "try" "install" or "check" the display seems to turn of even tho the disc continues to load,
its kind of related to this bug- https:/

This may be a bug related to X in which case look at the following link regarding gathering info:

But I'm also curious, if you have a daily iso from 03/15/2010, or later, if you'd please try taking no action at all after the new logo appears and see if it then goes to the Live Desktop. This is why:

Just this part, "On the negative side if I press Esc to display the boot menu and select Try without changes I fail to go to the Live Desktop, at a certain point I just go to a black screen and it stays there. I realize that may sound like a problem with X (and I use openchrome drivers) but remember if I take NO action and let the Live CD just continue past the logo I can boot to the Live Desktop perfectly well."
The problem with "Check disc" going to a blank screen should be fixed from at least the 03/15/2010 daily onward.
