Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

I just installed Lucid Alpha 3 and I backup up my home directory. Now I'm trying to restore the configuration for Empathy (version 2.29.92-0ubuntu2), but cannot find the proper config directories to copy back to my new home folder. These are the ones I've tried:

~/.mission-control
~/.gconf/apps/empathy
~/.gconf/apps/telepathy
~/.local/share/Empathy
~/.config/Empathy

That is 5 different directories!

None of them works! I even tried restarting my computer to no avail (someone said you have to do that with .mission-control, how stupid is that?).

Thank you for your bug report, but the fact that you don't know what you want to backup doesn't make a bug in the software but that's rather an user question you want to ask out of the bug tracker

Changed in empathy (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Invalid
