Bug Description

Binary package hint: nagios-common

To recreate Problem:
ls -l /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg
-rw------- 1 nagios www-data 6325 2006-07-18 02:51 /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg

When accessing the nagios screens, (eg: http://localhost/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi?host=all) this gives the following erroneous report:
-------------------------
"It appears as though you do not have permission to view information for any of the services you requested...

If you believe this is an error, check the HTTP server authentication requirements for accessing this CGI
and check the authorization options in your CGI configuration file."
---------------------------
To fix the problem:
sudo chmod g+r /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, dpkg seems not to believe the file is even installed

dpkg -S /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg
dpkg: /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg not found.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
system config:

 dpkg -l nagios-common nagios-plugins nagios-text
