with OSS4(w/o pulse&alsa) volume control was disabled. VLC & other players works correctly

Binary package hint: totem

i removed PulseAudio and removed ALSA, after i installed OSS4 and setup my system ubuntu 9.10.
Now volume control is disabled in Totem interface.
Is interesting, that other mediaplayers (as VLC, mplayer) works with OSS correctly.

No, I don`t: Rhythmbox works correctly.
