Thank you for taking the time to report this to Ubuntu. Unfortunately, I am not sure I fully understand the problem you are experiencing. Please answer the following questions so we can better understand the issue.

- Is this problem consistent and reproducible?
- If it is, what specific steps do you need to take to cause the bug? (So we can test it ourselves)
- Can you clarify what you mean by "Still running, the messages have stopped?"?

Once you answer these questions, we will be able to work on processing this report. Thanks in advance!

Also, please try with the latest version of flashplugin-installer as you seem to be running 10.0r22 still. Thanks.

I have the same problem. But the error message is slightly different:
(firefox-bin:6158): Gdk-WARNING **: XID collision, trouble ahead

I just cleared up my .xsession-errors and started a flash video inside Firefox. The .xsession-errors got filled with 152 errors like this in a few seconds of video.

I'm using an updated Lucid with Firefox version: 3.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu6 and flashplugin-installer version: 10.0.45.2ubuntu1.

Is this a reincarnation of bug #401823 ?

Cheers,
Daniel

I wouldn't say a "reincarnation" as it looks like that bug report is still getting a fair amount of activity both down- and upstream. Since this is not causing a crash, it seems to be the same as bug 401823, so I am going to mark this report as a duplicate of that bug. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Please continue to report any other bugs you may find.
