[update regression] isapnp hangs on boot time kernel 2.6.15-26-686

Bug Description

I have a FSC Amilo M3438 laptop. works fine with the 2.6.15-25-686 kernel. Since update, it hangs with the 2.6.15-26-686 kernel at the line:

"isapnp: Scanning for PnP Cards ..."

the cpu fan runs on 100%, and i have to hard reset.

I have just upgrade to ubuntu 7.04, kernel 2.6.20-15-generic. There is no problem during the start up of the system anymore.
