Bug Description
I'm using Lucid Alpha 3, 32-bit.
Kernel: 2.6.32-16-generic
nvidia graphics, including restricted driver
Compiz window manager in Gnome
Each time I start my laptop, when I push enter at the GDM screen, the GDM screen restarts itself, login 'bongos' and all. When I press enter again to select my name, I can log in as usual. I expected to log in the first time without the screen restarting.
Also, I have no boot splash while the OS is loading, just the loading bar briefly at the bottom. Perhaps this problem is related to Plymouth? Either that or GDM I would think, but I'm not sure enough to choose one or the other.
