Bug Description
Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
Hello,
apparently the named package is not loadable from the package server.
I know, this is all free software and lots of it is really good, excellent.
But it is just annoying that a single missing file blocks the hole update
process and causing lots of trouble in some other packages.
The wget timeout is fare to high. It takes quite some minutes before
the wget process times out. I case a webserver dose not connect or
begins with the deliver of a file within seconds, the connection is just
bad. Waiting for minutes is pointless.
And falling in an wget endless loop is even more pointless. I believe
a retry of 3 is quite enough.
For example, per package:
1. try 3 seconds connect and 10 seconds read timeout
2. try 5 seconds connect and 30 seconds read timeout
3. try 10 seconds connect and 60 seconds read timeout
Sorry for my little twisted mood
Axel
