Adding PPA tv-player doesn't works

Hi, I added those two lines to my sources.list
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/tv-player-team/tv-player/ubuntu karmic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/tv-player-team/tv-player/ubuntu karmic main

then
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

when I try opening tv-player via applications → audio video → tv-player
the program doesn't starts; if I try to open it via terminal I've this output
