Bug Description

I cannot delete or move bugs I opened for mistake, there is no Possibility to delete a wiki name after merging a Launchopad account. There is no Help in Launchpad, to get used to it.

No tool like reportbug for malone in ubuntu? No Help to report bugs?

Disappointing for novices and other users.

Rejecting a bug you reported is possible. Click on the name of the thing the bug is reported against, e.g. "launchpad (upstream)" in the table, then set "Status" to "Rejected".

Moving a bug you reported is also possible. Click on the name of the thing the bug is reported against, then change the "Product" field.

And deleting a wiki name is also possible. In the "Edit Wiki Names" page, click the "Remove" checkbox next to the name, and click "Save Changes".

A reportbug tool is far off, until we get the Malone data model stable and an XML-RPC interface implemented <https://wiki.launchpad.canonical.com/MaloneXmlRpcInterface>.

If it isn't obvious how to do something in Launchpad, that's a bug. Please report those bugs individually (one problem per bug report). At the moment, Launchpad is far from the best possible design, so making things more obvious is a better use of our time than writing help that most people won't read. Thanks!

Changed in launchpad:
status: New → Rejected

Thank You for help me regarding my problems with Launchpad.
But I'm not able to delete the wiki "floogy", because I messed my
Launchpad up
somewhat, due to a lost password, I had to create a new account floogy.

Now I want to get rid of it. I renamed it to GerhardGaußling, also
changing the email address worked,
but changing the wiki does not work:

The other problem is that one bug is assigned to Ubuntu AND
Ubuntu/sketch
I think it would be better to remove it from "ubuntu":

(medium priority)
5347. sketch does not start
in sketch (Ubuntu), assigned to MOTU
two days old — filed in 1 other place

Where can I find a description about the sverity of the bugs, like
reportbug offers for debian?
What's the best way to aproove, if a bug is already reported? Is there a
full-text search of malone?
Ah, ok, I just noticed that Daniel Holbach rejected the bug 5347 in
ubuntu, but it is kept in ubuntu/sketch, right?

Ok, I will stop now, and agree, that it is better to report such
problems individually, and maybe better in ubuntu-users ML.
