Bug Description
When using the KATE editor to write MIPS assembly language, the mode is reverted to "GNU Assembler" whenever the document is saved.
This can be reproduced by creating a file with a .s (dot s) extension and saving it. Set the mode to MIPS assembler, then save the file. The mode is reverted to "GNU Assembler".
This is in reference to KATE version 3.3.2 on KDE 4.3.2.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https:/ /bugs.kde. org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.
Thanks!
