WORK AROUND:
Due to changes to how Ubuntu One installs and functions, users of the beta PPA will receive this error. The following steps will allow you to work around this issue:
1. Open Applications-
2. Run the following commands:
sudo apt-get remove ubuntuone-client* python-
sudo apt-get install ubuntuone-client* python-
3. Either logout and log back into Ubuntu or restart
4. Access Ubuntu One via System-
5. Click on the "Devices" tab
6. Click on the "Connect" button to connect to the Ubuntu One service
