light-themes do not play well with application using the tray icon support

Bug Description
Binary package hint: light-themes
It seems that the ambiance theme does not play well with some applications using a tray icon, as evident in the attached screenshot. However this also happens with other themes, so that could be a problem with the notification area itself. Nevertheless the default theme in Ubuntu should try not have this problem. Maybe something can be done in the theming.

I agree; it's annoying. Some icons are distant from each other, and the rest are very near. It's inconsistent, as all of them are in the tray icons area, I expect all of them to have the same behavior.
