The crash dump doesn't contain any debugging symbols, please install warzone2100-dbg and see if it still crashes with a newer version of warzone2100.

This bug affected me to on 14.04 LTS. When I download and compile the warzone2100 from the website (version 3.1.1) it works flawless. The latest in the standard repos is 3.1 RC2.
