Sorry you ran into this bug while installing. I'm a bit confused on this one though. I can't find a package named oprofile-jit, at least not on packages.ubuntu.com. and 9.10 has a different version of oprofile than what is mentioned here. Where can I find this package?

Looks like it oprofile-jit may have come from a fedora package installed with CellBE SDK.
