The supermirror sftp server doesn't use bzr or paramiko code. It does rely on the launchpad database for many operations though -- perhaps you happened to try it during a weekly rollout?

If you have dates and times, I can check the sftp server log files and see if there's anything relevant there. Failing that, a launchpad username might be enough.

Hi, sorry to reply so late, but I didn't notice the comment.

The comment on bzr/paramiko was related to something else in the
support req #1197, which was not part of the quote.

It does not apply to the supermirror...

Since I resolved my sftp issue with bzr (which took the bulk of
support req #1197), I have not tried anymore to connect to the
supermirror with 'lftp'.

I have tried just now (2006-08-22, 18:23 GMT+2; user name 'rmurri')
and 'cd','ls' were returning to prompt with no unreasonable delay.

I guess I tried during the "weekly rollout" as you suggest.

So, I cannot reproduce the bug right now, and I guess you can close
it.

Setting status to "Rejected". That is the malone way of saying "closed without a fix", since the problem cannot be reproduced and the reporter suggested that we close the bug.
