Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-numpy
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
python-numpy:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1:1.3.0-3
Version table:
1:1.3.0-3 0
500 http://
I expected Synaptic to successfully install python-numpy. But instead, it reported and exit status 1 when it tried to configure the package after installation.
Complications: I had previously installed and uninstalled python-numpy. Then I installed:
python-numarray:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1.5.2-4ubuntu1
Version table:
1.5.2-4ubuntu1 0
500 http://
So python-numarray was installed at the time that the installation of python-numpy failed.
Now I had uninstalled both python-numarray and python-numpy.
