cannot play sound only from one of speakers

Hallo, I cannot play volume from only one speaker, it always plays from both

If I try change it to left or right, volume turns off and when I turn it on, it plays from both speakers

If you use pavucontrol and unlock the /stream/ volume, you can then shift balance. See also bug 532095

thanks, but only in pavucontrol, gnome-volume-control doesn't still work properly
