Bug Description
Package: kdesudo
Priority: optional
Section: kde
Installed-Size: 660
Maintainer: Anthony Mercatante <email address hidden>
Architecture: i386
Version: 3.4.2.2-0ubuntu1
Launching an application as root - in this case, Dolphin - using:
Alt+F2 and type kdesudo dolphin
Prompted for password. Dolphin launches and at the bottom reports:
"The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly."
No folders/files are displayed in any Places location.
This problem occurs with other apps launched with kdesudo - that the file
protocol dies unexpectedly.
One can however, launch kdesudo using: kdesudo 'dbus-launch dolphin --nofork' and it works correctly, without the protocal death.
