Hi , that is not an icon from the ubuntu-mono theme , it seems to be an icon provided by the app.

Yeah, this is an upstream issue, we ship the icon deja-dup-symbolic. It is too big now, after some indicator changes. It used to be sized correctly, but now the indicator uses same sizing logic as the old notification applet and it's too big. Will fix.
