Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Ubuntu 9.10 Evolution 2.28.1. No notification bubble.

I have the play sounds and Display a notification ticked in both General Preferences and plug-ins.

The sounds play once in a while when they seem to feel like it and the notification hardly ever displays.

Is this a know issue? Or is there a general fix?

is there any need to report the same bug twice? bug 518910 . marking it as duplicate.

Apparently so if there was no indication that it was received/read. <g> What is the status or how do I find out what the status is?
