Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunar-volman

Thunar-volman 0.3.80-2ubuntu1
On a brand new Xubuntu 9.10 with xubuntu-desktop installed : plugging in an encrypted filesystem (USB key for example) shows the passphrase prompt from Thunar-volman. After entering the passphrase, an error dialog is displayed stating that cryptsetup can not be found.

The thunar-volman package should depend on cryptsetup.

Nope, it's not a duplicate of this one (which is now fixed btw :-))

The support is present and works, but only after manually "sudo aptitude install cryptsetup".

In fact that's rather the exo-utils package that should depend on cryptsetup. I sent the bug upstream to Debian.

The mount/eject code has been removed from exo 0.5.5, and thunar now uses gio. It's not really clear if the dep is still needed, reassigning to thunar (at least until the alpha1, after which the new thunar will be uploaded and people will be able to test).

affects: exo (Ubuntu) → thunar (Ubuntu)
