Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Whenever I boot my dell mini 9 (running Lucid Ubuntu Desktop, with autologin), I get a black screen instead of the session.
If I switch to another tty and back to tty7, I get the full session.
But, after working a bit with it, X crashes and I get a GDM login. Once logged again, the session looks much more stable.
Let me know any information you may need.

Hi ara, are you still seeing this bug? Since it is a crash, what we need for the next step in processing this bug report is to have a full backtrace. Sometimes apport collects this automatically; if that has happened, then simply mark this bug report a duplicate of the report that apport collected. If it didn't, then if the issue persists unfortunately we'll need you to collect a backtrace manually.
For guidance in how to collect a full backtrace manually, please see http:// wiki.ubuntu. com/X/Backtraci ng. Thanks ahead of time.
