Save Dialog doesn't recognize pdf's "Image Files" filter

Bug Description
When saving a file, the save dialog will not show existing files of type .pdf when the "image files" filter is selected. By changing to "all Files", pdf's show up in the listing.
BTW, Shouldn't Documents be the default directory or saving?

Thanks Jim, both fixed. Additionally it will now remember the save location if you navigate away from the Documents directory.
