Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

On my Lenovo T60 the gnome-power-manager
has a bug in the last aprox. two versions witch resets the tray icon nearly every minute (+/-)
even hiding it doesn't prevent it from leaving a black vertikal line.
in the last version this changed to leaving only one vertikal line and than nothing,
but still occupying the space in the tray. The only way of getting the space back is to terminate it.
The error message on every reset is:

(gnome-power-manager:4793): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkStatusIcon' to `GtkWidget'

(gnome-power-manager:4793): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_hide: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

hope i could help,
greetings from gernany
