Bug Description
I had a number of files saved on Ubuntu One and have just accessed it after about 2 weeks of being away and there are no files in my system. Could you let me know if these are backed up somewhere?
Thanks
Emma

Hello Emma,
I have converted your question to a bug report.
First of all, the files are not immediately purged from the storage pool so it is possible to recover them. However could you please provide more information to help diagnosing the issue?
We would like you to upload the contents of your ~/.cache/ ubuntuone/ logs/ directory (open Nautilus and select View/Show Hidden Files). Then you will be able to go to ".cache" folder which is in your home directory, then navigate to "ubuntuone" folder, click logs and choose 'Compress' via the menu. Create an archive and attach the logs to this bug report via 'Add attachment or patch' link.
These logs contain information on what actions were performed by the syncdaemon, the software that is in charge of file sync.
