init script fails to (re)create /var/run/shibboleth

Bug Description

ubuntu 9.10 x64
libapache2-mod-shib2 version 2.1.dfsg1-2

At installation time the package creates /var/run/shibboleth. But /var/run is tmpfs, so after the next reboot the directory is gone and shibd does no longer start complaining about the socket.

IMHO the init script should check and recreate as neccesary the /var/run/shibboleth directory.
