Bug Description
Currently I have fixed a few older laptops with large harddrives which were not able to boot Karmic with the normal grub2 installation. This is a known bug from what I can gather and installing the Lucid grub2 1.98 has fixed each of these machines. I was able to boot the laptops by removing the "search" line on 1.97 and then remove grub-pc and grub-common and replacing them with debs from Lucid manually.
