Having renamed nvidia-96.ko to nvidia-backup-ko, as proscribed in Xorg Propriety Driver Test Cases, attempted System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers to attempt reinstall of drivers.

Failed with Jockey error, see attached (from /var/log/jockey.log)

Even if using an old Nvidia driver, I thinks this is a duplicate of bug #526020.
