Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I just installed the latest version, Ubuntu 9.10 and also did the live update and restarted the computer. When I put Audio CD, the system asked to select which player to play the CD, then I selected Rhythmbox. (I have the version of Rhythmbox 0.12.5). Then I selected track and click play, it is playing the CD track, but no sound from the speakers. It is not showing any error, then I tried the radio, but the audio problem is same, no sound.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Are you able to play any audio at all? If you installed default Ubuntu, in your home folder, you should find some example content, can yo check if you can play that fine?
