Bug Description

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

After upgrading from 9.10 64-bit to 10.04 alpha 3 64-bit, the flash plugin was not available in either Firefox or Chrome (no other browsers tested). This was verified by going to youtube.com and about:plugins in Firefox. The package was installed and was previously working in karmic. I resolved the problem by doing `sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin-installer && sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree`.

linux: Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) 64-bit
firefox: 3.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu5
flash: 10.0.45.2ubuntu1

Workaround:
Just download the 64-bit version from Adobe
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10_64bit.html
(current tarball at time of report 18 apr 2010
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.45.2.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz)
Close your browser
Untar the file
Move the resulting libflashplayer.so file to
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

seems to me like these steps could just be added to the flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu). Anyone with packaging skills?
