Hello,

If I interpret correctly, you mean to say that search on tax_code is not appropriate.

We have tried for all the maximum possibilities, its working fine.

May be, you need to explain more for this. It could lead to some another problem.

I am closing the bug in the current context of search.

Open Taxes / Tax declaration
enter a string in Base code - IMHO it should only return matching records - here it returns always all records

I tested now using http://demo.openerp.com

the search searches ONLY in code not in name. So if no Code defined, all (or nothing WEB-Client) is returned

I am sorry fro setting it as invalid ealier.

Its an issue related to _rec_name.
