Bug Description
Binary package hint: wammu
I tried to connect my Motorola W385 over bluetooth and got an error message.
I selected OBEX over Bluetooth. When I got to the connection test, my phone asked me to grant permission and then I got this error message in Wammu:
"Failed to connect to phone
Description: Nobody is perfect, some bug appeared in protocol implementation. Please contact authors.
Function: Init
Error code: 37"
I even tried to set my phone to automatically accept request and no luck.
Full steps:
In Bluetooth, add the device
Open Wammu
Launch Phone Wizard
Configuration style: Guided configuration
Connection Type: Bluetooth
Phone Type: Motorola phone
Connection Type: OBEX and IrMC protocols
Driver to use: OBEX over Bluetooth
Enter address from phone
Grant access on phone
Error
Also, my phone is not found when using "Automatically search for a phone."
Maybe the error message is wrong and Wammu is just trying to do stuff that my phone doesn't support? If I check my phone's access settings, I can turn on these features:
Handsfree voice gateway
OBEX Object Push
OBEX File Transfer
Dial-up Networking Gateway

Oh, and I did successfully use moto4lin to connect to my phone following their wiki (http:// moto4lin. sourceforge. net/wiki/ W385) and ubuntuforums (http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=638509). However, I did this over usb.
