Bug Description
Ubuntu One inadequately informs the user of current activity. Is syncing going on? Which way, up or down? And currently neither in the tray icon nor with folder icons. Dropbox does this way better.

Sebastian,
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and ideas on how to make Ubuntu One better. I agree with you that this information could be more readably available to the user. The developers have been busy in this release cycle with the music store and improving stability. However they have added some features to the u1sdtool in Lucid, some of these provide additional information about what is going on with your transfers. In a Terminal run 'man u1sdtool' to see some of these. I would not be surprised if in Lucid +1 this is addressed in some manner.
thank you,
