problem starting lucid alpha 3 with nouveau driver on geforce go 7600

Bug Description

just started lucid alpha 3 from usb-stick on my compal hel10 and i get strange graphics errors on startup. after a while and hacking in all sorts of keyboard combination (ctrl+alt+F1 et. al.) X finally starts and i have to manually login. from thereon it works so far...

Everything in your dmesg seems ok. This may be caused by some lingering plymouth bugs. To check this, please remove plymouth and try to boot again.
