Totem-xine crashes on startup in dapper

On startup totem-xine crashes and on stderr these messages appear:

For some files, the video and audio still continue playing while the Gnome crash dialog is displayed. The GUI does not respond though. It looks to me that some changes in GUI have not been propogated to the version with xine backend.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I cannot reproduce your bug report, May you try to reproduce it with a newer version of Ubuntu like Feisty or Gutsy? you can get a CD Image from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ thanks.
