Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Karmic Koala
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1) maximize one of the windows on your desktop.
2) place the cursor somewhere on the titlebar, click and drag it away from the top border.
3) when the window "snaps out" the window is correctly resized, but the cursor is now placed at the CENTER of the titlebar and not in the original position.
4) because of this the window moves away.
This effect is more pronounced if the cursor is placed at the edge of the titlebar.
Metacity window manager nicely handles this. The user experience is much more smooth.
Cheers,
Davide
