Bug Description

Ubiquity does not support Intel Macs, because at present it does not support boot loaders other than GRUB on i386.

There's no need for further logs here; Intel Macs simply aren't supported by ubiquity at the moment, I'm afraid. (However, this should of course be fixed.)

GRUB now installs on some distros on intel macs so it is possible that if GRUB is fixed then no changes will need to be made to Ubiquity. here are instructions for installing GRUB on intel macs with Gentoo for reference:

Thanks, I've made a reference to that in the specification for fixing Intel Mac support. In the meantime, this is bug 46853 ...
