Bug Description
I've been having no luck loading any flavor of linux on my new Dell i1764:
Inspiron 1764
Intel Core i5
M430 2.27GHz
4 GB Ram
Onboard Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD
Currently running Win 7 Pro
Apparently, the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD is not supported in linux.
At the suggestion of manishmahabir on Ubuntu Forums I tried loading the
Lucid Lynx Alpha 3 live cd that downloaded and burned to a CD on Feb 23 2010.
It booted into full screen resolution (I heard the login sound, too) but he machine
locked as soon as I tried to pull down a menu

Same here, on the Dell Inspiron 1764.
