Background issu with Dual Screen

I'm using gdm2setup on a computer with a dual screen. The resolutions are set by my xorg.conf (even if it's not an obligation with Karmic) like this : Left screen 1680*1050, right screen 1024*768, absolute.

When i try to select the background using gdm2setup, it fails. The thumbnail stays the same and when applying changes, Background is the only option not changed.

After reading your code, it seems that gdm2setup look for a image call bg.jp. With my resolution, the image name is bg_2560x1600. After manually remplacing the picture by another name bg.jpg, gdm2setup can't display the thumbnail. When renammed to bg_2560x1600, thumbnail ok (very strange ?) and of course modifications working.

SO - when you manualy change the file name the app stops working correctly?

This appears to be the same issue as https://bugs.launchpad.net/gdm2setup/+bug/529192. I am closing this as a duplicate unless further information is discovered.
