+vouchers page timing out

Bug Description

As seen in OOPS-1514L1879 the page https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+vouchers is frequently timing out. Some timeouts just produce the page "Sorry, there was a problem connecting to the Launchpad server." with no OOPS number.

Due to this problem commercial customers are unable to redeem their vouchers.

I have observed that the page is not currently timing out but that purchased vouchers are not showing up.

The timeouts are probably related to the issue in bug 527505 but it is unclear exactly how.

Regardless of the outcome, the sfi_proxy needs to be instrumented to log entry and exit of method calls and any time outs or connectivity problems to Salesforce.
