WebUI Not woking for Safari

As of the latest beta that i just compile per the instructions on the wiki on ubuntu Linux i can not log into the WebUi with safari. Firefox works great though.

I thought i was just my iphone but i checke it on my desktop version of safari.

This bug also effects Google chrome for the mac. All of these browsers are webkit. I would it was my build but the login works fine in firefox.

This happens for me as well. I am using QBittorrent 2.1.5 on Kubuntu 9.10 along with Safari on my iPod Touch with firmware version 3.1.3. I cannot get beyond the login and it even banned my iPod's IP. However, it does work in my Google Chrome from the local computer. So, that tells me it's not webkit causing the problem. Is there an incompatibility with Mac?

I have just released v2.1.6.

It includes a fix regarding browser authentication. I may fix Safari authentication too although I did not test. Could you please try with this new qBittorrent?

I can't make the new 2.1.6 version. I did "make uninstall" on the 2.2v4 beta beforehand too. When running the 'make' command, it errors, log is attache. I don't have time to look at it tonight, ill check it tomorrow.

I am confident this will be fixed in v2.2.0final that will be released this Sunday. I have just committed several fixes to make Web UI authentication more flexible/robust.

You could even try SVN before then if you want to make sure the bug is fixed before release:
