Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

Hello.

Here is a way to recreate the bug :
(I’m sorry, I use the French version of Openoffice)
— launch Openoffice.org-base
— Create two tables (with the button “créer une table en mode ébauche”), and put just one field in the two, for instance integer. Clic right on the grey bordure at the left and check the button “clé primaire” (primary key).
— Use the assistant to create a formular (“Utiliser l'assistant de création d'un formulaire”) :
-> 1. “Selection de champs”, put the fisrt table with its field.
-> 2. “Paramétrer un sous-formulaire”, check the button “Add a sub formular”
-> 3. “Ajouter des champs du sous-formulaire”, choose the second table as the sub formular and select its field.

Then, when clicking on the fourth step (4. “Obtenir des champs joints”), it just crashs... The window stays but do not response anymore.

After killing the program and launching it again, there was no problem for it to reload the formular as it was before the crash.

Thancks by advance.

Martin.

I mark it as a duplicate of the bug n⁰518176, I think it’s the same problem.

I also tried it with different field types - it seems to make no difference which field types are included (e.g. VARCHAR and/or BOOLEAN).

Do you still have this problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid)?

I was experiencing this problem previously, but cannot recreate it now.

However, it hangs for about 30-40s when you click Finish at the end of the subform wizard, but does recover (this is on a quad cpu/4GB ram, so hardware capability should not be a factor here)
