unable to connect to any wireless network with the ñ char in the essid

here is an extract of the log

look at the wrong essid, it should be Oficoruña

tested with 2 networks, one is a WEP one (the logs one), and the other was an open system with essid espacio coruña

And the same if the 'ñ' char is in the passphrase, I can not connect. But if I put this passphrase in hexadecimal works.
