Occurs regardless of where I run Gwibber from.

Terminal, panel applet or menu's. Same result. Gwibber fails to load, with it crashing.

@Denis, alpha 3 dont have the latest gwibber but you can get to the latest
gwibber by doing sudo apt-get update ;sudo apt-get upgrade and please do
note that it dont ask you to remove anything during the process

@Omer, oh I forgot your could update stuff while you're on it live.. I won't be able to test it out until next weekend, do you still want me to try it out? (unless someone else confirms)

I'm running an up-to-date lucid and can seem to run it just fine. I did have the issue the first time I installed lucid. I'm not sure this is because the issue is fixed or just because I have since been able to configure some accounts.

Was the crash only happening if there were no accounts configured? If yes, how do I delete the config to try from scratch?

Crash with same traceback still occurs with gwibber version 2.29.92.1-0ubuntu1 (lucid alpha3 netbook-i386 live CD + updates to gwibber & gwibber-service).

Same result after updating desktopcouch to version 0.6.3-0ubuntu1.

Method was to select "Broadcast Accounts..." from panel's user menu, as the first use of gwibber.

Will try with beta1 live CD later today.

@Gary: Did not crash for me, even without additional updates to beta1. tried the gwibber items in MeMenu, and the messaging menu etc...still did not crash.

Just wanted to put that out there.

This happened to me the first time after a long time it worked perfectly for me, I resolved it locally by killing "gwibber-service" and "gwibber" from shell (with user rights). After that it started again as I was used to. Reboot therefore should have helped, too
