Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Not sure what happened , but there was a compiz crash or fail. Compiz had to be restarted and i noticed the firefox crash a few minutes later. [Might be related to the new gtk-csd changes??]

I had to restart computer because the game called Gem DropX wouldn't start or close. On restarting, Firefox the auto-update checker caused this problem by not exiting properly to allow FF to open as usual. I removed Gem DropX. Gweled, the game used to be better without the timer, I used to play to for hours on Mint and Puppy. Has anybody else noticed that some of the games do not enlarge in full-screen anymore, remember the older folks out here and those that like the bigger card faces, etc.

Thanks 10.10 is coming along great,

I think some updates were applied that effect this more severely, since I can't launch Firefox because I can't bypass this updater.

Script: file:///usr/lib/firefox-3.6.7/components/nsExtensionManager.js:623

I have the Update Extension loaded that works separately from this one I think, but I suppose it'll be fixed soon. I will miss my Firefox Extensions and Bookmarks.

Thanks,

Well I'm trying to download some DVD ISO files from Distrowatch, but it keeps crashing. It happened before the latest updates, and afterwards, too, when I started up Firefox it said one DVD ISO had problems, but started the one file again, but crashed again. You'd think I was beta testing Firefox 4 at this rate.

I'll see if the Janitor helps...
